Jail Ministry

Reverend Jim Braun is the Director for the WRBA Jail Ministry. For years, Brother Braun and his loyal volunteers have spent their Sunday afternoons from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the McLennan County Correctional Center on Highway 6.

Volunteers help lead small group Bible studies with inmates, pass out Bibles, and offer Christian support.  This year over 661 services were conducted, over 2,000 Bibles were given out, and 896 inmates accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior.  There is always an overwhelming need for more volunteers.  If you would like more information about this ministry please contact the WRBA offices at (254) 753-2408, or you can contact Jim Braun at (254) 546-2874.
